Frank Kulick - in his own words
Frank Kulick was Ford Motor Company's fifth employee, hired in the early summer of 1903, before the first Ford Model A was on the market. In this video he tells, in his own words how he helped Henry Ford sort out those first Model A, and about working with and for Henry Ford. He goes into detail about winning Ford's first stock motor car world record driving the six cylinder Model K, as well as the origin of Ford's assembly line.
Frank Kulick's time with Ford spanned the beginning of Ford Motor Company until the end of Model T era. He set world and national speed records driving Ford cars and racers between 1904 and 1912. Unlike most successful racing drivers of the time, he didn’t drive other race cars in competition , always staying with the Ford brand. He drove in two of Ford's most famous transcontinental events, the 1909 Ocean to Ocean race, as well as piloting the 10 millionth Model T across the country in 1924.

Thanks Rob. Not sure how many of you have stamped numbers on a block, but that tiny hammer he is using in the picture certainly will not be making much of an imprint! He must have known the factory trick for that!!

Re: Frank Kulick - in his own words
Thanks guys.
Dan, I've not stamped numbers on a block. However, I think I've bought a few cars where someone else did.....
Merry Christmas all,
Rob
