Luray VA pictures
Angie and I went to Luray today. What a great show. Lot's of stuff and of course the people. Did it rain? Yup but it passed. If you haven't been you have to go.
You all know who this guy is. What a neat car!

A lot of nice looking cars and many parts as well. The driver of that first car must be very tall! I wonder why all the stickers are on the driver's side?

Hey Norman K! That is Dean Yoder! Probably the person that has driven model Ts more than any other person alive today!

Re: Luray VA pictures
Dean drove from Iowa to Luray. He is no taller than the rest of us. I believe he has driven to all 49 states and that is only because the bridge to Hawaii has not been built yet. I would not be surprised if Dean drives out to San Diego for the national tour after he gets home from Luray. The stickers are on the lower windshield since you do not look through the bottom half anyway. The back of his car opens up to make a camper - pretty neat car he has put together for traveling. You will notice he has a jackalope horn on his radiator cap. That replaced this fine cap he used while traveling out west.

I didn't recognize the car from the front, however, Dean is in the second picture with white hair and beard. I have met him before and recognized his covered wagon in the back.

Re: Luray VA pictures
LuRain pic as another downpour ended. forgot who needs to be credited for coining LuRain so many names and faces for newer people to keep up with while answering "how much do you want" and "will you take" all day.
Some of you owe me some vendor space money for loitering under the canopy during the downpours! I think mostly brass guys (I'm not going to post what George Danek tought me about brass cars) were the ones afraid to get wet.
This is for George D. since he took issue with some stink bugs found in a radiator he bought out of Tennessee!

Re: Luray VA pictures
I've never been to Luray, but I went to Hershey once. It was so wet, the rain was running over the side of a bridge like a waterfall. I didn't stay long, but I did get to meet Bruce McCauley. We had flown in and couldn't really take anything we couldn't carry on our luggage. I thought about buying some coils but then wondered if the security people would thing they were bombs. So we didn't. We did visit the chocolate factory and also went to Philadelphia and saw the Liberty bell and a few other things.

Bill Calimer. He has been doing wheels for over 40 years. His work is excellent.
