What would be the advantage? More power.

3 speed sliding gear transmission. It’d raise your top end from 6 to 7-8 MPH…if it was for a Model F that is. Fordsons we’re built in some form or fashion up to 1962.

George, Judging from the water pump/outlet on front of head, its for a Model F or Model N.
