FS The Competition

Post by YellowTRacer » Sun Oct 06, 2024 2:30 am

For those of you that have wondered what the competition was like as Chevrolet began to outsell our first love......the Model T Ford, here's your chance to own one. For Sale is a 1926 Chevrolet Superior K 5 passenger touring. This is an older show quality restoration, extremely well maintained with less than 3000 miles driven since it received a complete ground up restoration. It's dark blue, black fenders and chassis, white striping. Rare Aerometer (Motometer) water temperature gauge and winged radiator cap, clock gear shifting knob, dual wind wings, front and rear bumpers, white wall tires, Chevrolet script spare tire cover. I doubt if you could find a nicer one. More pictures available on request. Really want to sell. $14,000.00.

A beauty! I would change the header to reader: FS 1926 Chevrolet.

You want as many eyeballs as possible to view.
Good luck!

Does anyone know;
What’s the horse power on a 27 Chevy?
What’s the average “cruising” speed?

The Competition had 23 Horsepower. Cruises comfortably at 40-50 mph with a top speed of maybe 60 or so. (I've never run it at top speed)
