Do you live in the EU/UK? Who sells Model T parts there?
I've been approached by some vendors in the EU to distribute my products, and some want exclusivity. If you live in Europe and/or the UK, I'm VERY curious where you buy your parts from and your experience with various Model T parts vendors.
.
Or do you just buy from vendors here in the states like Langs & Snyders, etc?
Any insight is welcome!

Re: Do you live in the EU/UK? Who sells Model T parts there?
I'd choose the one with the best website that lists parts for sale. I didn't see any standouts and 0 possibility
O'Neil Has Model A & Ford V8 section but non for Model T
TUCKETT BROTHERS has no Model T section - has lots of generators (12v) etc listed (competition?)
Prewar.com looks like an eBay for car parts
fordmodelt.net/model-t-parts.htm is just ordering from US suppliers for customers I think
Might not be worth the effort. Who did I miss?

So theres this:
https://www.rudolfs-oldtimershop.de/shop/
He has a 200 page catalog (in German) and everything in the catalog is for sale on the website, although I found several items "out of stock."

While the HOME page lets you choose between English(British) or German the PDF catalog only available in German (Deutsch) Its is a very nice catalog and while not having subjects areas to chose and drill down to a part like Lang's it is somewhat grouped by parts belonging to the same subject but still a long list. Prices are in Euros and sometimes a part is very competitive to USD others may be double USD. That is likely where they import it from.AdminJeff wrote: ↑Sun Oct 13, 2024 6:17 pmSo theres this:

I have contacted a Model T friend in Germany (one of the 10 that traveled Cost to Coast) to see what they do. Rudolfs has a very descent on-line catalogue.
There are ways to translate an entire PDF but I don't have one & the FREE one said it was too big and I needed to buy the formal one.
So I used Google translate on a few items of interest & didn't see (Didn't see any VR's for Model T or A)

In Spain there is a supplier specialized in American cars, AUTO CLÁSICO.
Here is a link to their Model T catalog: https://www.autoclasico.es/recambios/ford-t
I have always purchased my material from suppliers in the USA. I haven't ordered anything from this outfit yet.

Re: Do you live in the EU/UK? Who sells Model T parts there?
In the German-speaking region, Rudolf's Oldtimershop is probably the leading supplier. I have already had contact with these people, they are very friendly and helpful. Their catalog is very extensive.
The spare parts are a lot more expensive than in the USA and many parts are often not in stock.
I have sympathy for the company, though. There aren't that many Model Ts in Europe and trading is difficult.
The company also doesn't ship to Switzerland because of customs clearance. That's why I've ordered from Lang's, Snyders or Chaffins so far. For larger orders, the expensive shipping is worth it.
If I urgently needed a single spare part, I would try to get it from Rudolf's Oldtimershop.
I have contact with a few other T people and they usually get the spare parts from the USA too.
I hope I was able to help a little.
Greetings from Switzerland

Rudolf has been in contact and I'm working with him. There are over 1000 known T's in Germany and 500 T owners in their club. Pretty decent size for just Germany!

In the UK, the main parts suppliers are:
1. The Model T Ford Register of Great Britain, the UK club which is a MTFCA chapter. We get a few parts made here, but most come from Snyders
2. Neil Tuckett (Tuckett Brothers), who buys, sells, repairs and generally lives Model Ts
The T Service and Tudor Wheels operate on a smaller scale.

Re: Do you live in the EU/UK? Who sells Model T parts there?
Denmark have probably 500 model T's (I have 3 of them
) and I think around 100 members in the Danish Ford T club.
I'll say that "veterandele.dk" is a prime source for Model T parts in Denmark with cutomers primarily in Denmark, but also in Sweden and maybe other neighboring countries. They are basicly a Snyder outlet since he have a B2B agreement with Snyder. Parts with volume are stock and others are ordered from Snyders. They order on a monthly basis.
They also have A parts and a little V8.
There are others - when it comes to Model A, the Model A club have ordered parts from Snyders from day 1 when it was formed back in 1965. I believe it was one of the reasons it was founded - to buy parts home in bulk to lower the cost for shipping by spreading it on more parts.
I know of at least one more selling parts, but do not recall the name - and the principle are the same.
Note! It may be convinient for a US vendor to pick a distributor in the UK due to the language, but UK is as much member of the EU than US, so it will cost VAT and customs fee when the rest of Europe (EU) buys from a UK vendor. It will risk to cost several days - even weeks of delay at the customs.
Any vendor within the EU can sell and send spareparts to any customer within EUs 27 countries and VAT can be taken care of by the dealer and no customs fee. So no delays when crossing borders.

Exclusive? Tell them they need order 50 units. Whomever agrees, you have a winner.
