PM's
I'm dumber than a post when it comes to tech stuff, but I'm SLOWLY learning how to navigate this mess. I'm sure I've missed it somewhere, but how do you send a PM on here now. Thanks, Dave

Re: PM's
Yup, just read that right after I posted the question. Good to know I'm not as dumb as I thought, I hope!

Re: PM's
I currently show one private message waiting for me. I am logged in. I click on the "1" and get a new screen "General Error, module not accessible". Am not clear if this is the problem, or if it is due to the action Chris has taken to try and isolate the problem.

Re: PM's
We have not had a mySQL crash since I disabled Private Messaging.
We are checking the logs and a few other things.

Re: PM's
Right now I can't even send a PM to myself or anyone else.
This is just a heads up, I know it will get sorted out.

Re: PM's
I see the PM's have been turned back on, but I don't see anywhere to post my email address, am I missing something again?
I posted mine in the "other interests" spot for now so at least someone can contact me. Dave

Re: PM's
-Chris or Jeff-
Is there a way we as Forum users are able to delete 'read/resolved' PM's? Or, do we just wait for them to 'drop off' when our folder is full?? Thx.

Re: PM's
OK Jeff, I think I finally got this figured out. I found the members list and contacted them from there. One suggestion though, if possible, it would be much easier to find one if the list was in alphabetical order. No big deal, just a thought. I'm dumber than a post when it comes to computer "stuff". Thanks so much to you guys for doing what you do. Dave

Re: PM's
I’d like that too! Unfortunately, it is a phpbb limitation. As admins we can’t even search the forum users by first or last names. Crazy, but true. I’m trying to make a case with the developers to add these basic features in the future.
