Darel will be driving his Model A Roadster in the Afton, Mn. 4th of July parade. That is about a 90 mile round trip plus driving in the parade. HAPPY BIRTHDAY to the one of the most indefatigable persons I have known in my life!!

Thank you to all my friend and well wishers. I feel well and drive my old Fords. Tonight we are going to see a play and have dinner there. Many of you know I still have my 1910 touring I bought in 1946 at the age of 14 for $125 . I had $75 of my own and my dad gave me $50 . I am lucky in that my wife of 51 years is 8 years younger and is a great person. We live at 678 Tonkawa Rd in Orono, MN on lake Minnetonka. Our store of 48 years is at 239 Water St.
In Excelsior, MN. You can view both on Goggle Maps. We are going to the Old Log Theater for show and dinner. I may even alow m y to have a glass of red wine.l Thanks again, Darel,

HAPPY BIRTHDAY Darel, I beat you to 87 by 4 months. I can read the fine print without glasses and I water skiied in 2017...then my son sold the boat.

The play we saw is called "Five Presidents" and is about the 4 living past US presidents and the current one at that time, Bill Clinton. They gathered at the memorial service for Richard Nixon. Present beside Clinton was Jimmy Carter, Gerold Ford, Ronald Reagan and George H W Bush. It was very entertaining. It was openingg night for the play here ar the Old Log Theater in Greenwood, MN. (May be listed as in Excelsior, MN) Look kit up on Google. Lots of order folks in the audience. Some were even younger than I am. I now feel as if I am just one day older than 86.
