Driving to SPEEDSTER TRIALS in LINCOLN, NE?

Post by Gracie'sDad » Sat Mar 08, 2025 1:44 pm

Hey there!! Are you, or have you thought about driving your Model T to Lincoln, NE for the SPEEDSTER TRIALS and REUNION in June? I'd like to put together a caravan of Model T s out of Kansas City. I have a route that is proven for efficiency, convenient stops and safety. If your travel to Lincoln would bring you near the Kansas City area, please shoot me a private message, lets talk. Thanks!!

I’d love to accompany you John, but the California to Kansas City leg would wear me out. Sounds like a fun trip.

I would love to bring my 1915 T roadster with the Gallivan head to the meet. If anyone is driving from Portland/Seattle are and could trailer my T I would pay for the fuel and motels to and from. I presently do not have a tow vehicle and not willing to fork out $75,000 for a new truck.

My Gallivan is very quick and powerful. It was timed by the Washington State patrol at 113 mph. This was done by the original builder at an airport in Yakima Wa.

If I could find a transporter from Seattle to Lincoln and back I would do that as well. At my age not really wanting to herd a truck and trailer to and from Lincoln.

By the way are there any specific rules regarding an entry? Any limitations on heads, carbs, rear axles??

just sayin'

frontyboy.

I believe they use the F.A.S.T. rules, but I am not sure where you find them.

Charlie Yapp probably has them on a website somewhere or maybe someone will chime in.

They have different classes and your car will be put in one of those classes.

The rules are posted on the F.A.S.T. Website, VintageFastFords.com.
