20's differential in 1913 rear axle housings?

Post by MMorse » Wed Apr 09, 2025 7:03 pm

Good evening. The subject pretty much sums it up. I've got a 1913 rear axle with very worn parts, including the spider and spider gear bushings (yes, bushings). Would the guts (differential) from an early 1920's rear axle fit into the 1913 housing without any fitment issues?
Thank you!

Okay, thanks. That’s what I understood but was second guessing myself. I appreciate your help.

That is the beauty of a Model T. Most mechanical parts are interchangeable between the years. It was planned that way.
