Steve: Have you talked to the guys that made the reproduction pan jigs? They may have some extra ones. They made pan jigs that were same as the original ones.

I might have mis-spelled Bob's last name - it might have been Schwarzer ??? CRS is creeping in !

Re: Wanted: Bob Scherzer KRW pan fixture tail piece
The pan jig I designed pulls and pushes everything into position with minimal need for beating. This includes the fourth main and a hump or sag in the pan/gasket rail. It has levers, and attachments that are thread driven and gauges to show correct fitment of the pan arms. When I am finished, you can slide a 3/8" rod through the pan arms and frame holes.

Re: Wanted: Bob Scherzer KRW pan fixture tail piece
The only hammering needed is on the pan rails from overzealous bolt tightening - I use hydraulics !

Scherzer is the correct spelling. Nice Guy is an understatement. I was fortunate to have Bob as a shop teacher in high school. Three of my five old Fords are from his collection.Jerry VanOoteghem wrote: ↑Sat May 24, 2025 7:32 amI believe you have it correct.
He was a nice guy, fwiw.
