Looking for someone in Florida to install Warford trasmission

As the title says, I'm Looking for someone in or around Florida to install a Warford transmission in my 1919 Touring car. I'd like someone that has done this before and knows what they are doing. It currently has a Ruckstell rear and will need to be replaced with a regular rear with normal gearing. I do have safety hubs and AC brakes. We can discuss adding the Ruckstell as part payment or I can sell it. I would like the new rear completely rebuilt with new axle seals and driveshaft bushing. I do not have the transmission at the moment as I want to get everything lined up before I make the purchase.

Will, Why not run the Warford and the Ruckstell? Depending on what you are going to use it for, having more gears can be a real advantage. I have 1 T with a Muncie and standard rear, 1 with just a Ruckstell and 1 with a KC Warford and Ruckstell, I love having both but if I could only have 1 it would but the Ruckstell. I live where we have mountains and drive the backroads a lot so it would depend on your needs. Just my thoughts

I agree with Dennis. Why not run both? Its probably unlikely that you're going to find someone who will take your Ruxtell in trade for labor to install the Warford, especially if they are not an individual hobbiest and work for someone's restoration shop. Back in the 1970's, I bought a 1916 touring from Colorado Springs, CO. and it had both features. It was a blast to drive. In first gear Warford, low Ruxtell, and high gear T transmission, it was so slow that I could get off the car and walk around it and get back in the driver's seat before it had gone more than a car length. I swear, if I had could have found a tree growing out of the ground at a 45 degree angle, and driven up to it, that the T could have climbed that tree trunk. On the other hand, in Warford third gear overdrive, the T was faster than a comparable T with a standard rear axle. With or without the Ruxtell, the modifications for installing the Warford are the same to your driveshaft and rear radius rods.

I will think about it, wouldn't the two sticks get in the way. Its already difficult to get into with one big shifter in the way I have to wonder what would happen with two sticks.
