Post by Original Smith » Wed Jun 11, 2025 5:53 pm

Does anyone know the month in 1913 the rear axle fill plug was changed from slotted to hex? No guessing allowed!

That's a good come back Allan! LOL

I was fortunate enough to be given by a dear friend all the original drawings, penciled in changes, dates from personal copies from his father's work at Ford years back that I do not believe have ever made it to public view. These start from late 1907 to 1932. Sorry but these will not be published until my death as promised.

Well that fits my 1912 Canadian car is a Sept 1912 built car with the 13 style diff and slotted drain plug, it also has the slotted oil drain plug.
