diary no

Post by Allan » Wed Aug 20, 2025 2:13 am

I was given this original 1924 diary recently.

The centrefold is not as sexy as some, but I appreciate it anyway.

There are no entries made anywhere.

The front page has been carefully cut out. If anyone can post a square on photo of an original, I'd like to try to replace the front pages.

I wonder if the front page had a dealer's ad?

It would appear to be a Ford publication. This is the back page.

I would expect there to be a heading page at the front, perhaps with space for a dealer's stamp.
I found this inside. Perhaps it is just a Canadian publication.

Interesting that the dung beetle logo is still being used.

Dung beetle? Please explain John.
A previous post told the story of the explanation of the pyramid & the scarab beetle. That beetle is also known as a dung beetle. When someone pointed this out to Henery, Henry had this symbol removed from the dealers.
I believe the story came from the post on the new Ford EV symbol.
Now thats funny.

If that story is true, then farmer's fried Henry must have been ignorant of the beneficial of dung beetles

So the purpose of the Ford “diary” was a maintence and service log? Seems that way.
