Question about skis

Post by Doc » Thu Aug 21, 2025 5:47 am

I came across these images of skis and would like to build my own, but I need help finding drawings for them.

Credit for the images goes to Chris Bamford, I found the images here: https://www.mtfca.com/discus/messages/8 ... POST183657

You will not find drawings for them. You will need to reverse engineer them from the pictures. NHsnowcar has a lot of repo parts for Snowbird and Snowmobile. Those are neither brand.

This is what I built with some junk wheels, broken Model A springs, old bed frame and some sheet stainless that I found at the dump. The hard part is making sure that everything is parallel.
