Re: WTB: Watts Clutch Pack
Bought 2 clutch packs from R V Anderson and put one into 1910 engine. Only ran this engine on test stand, but had flywheel problem, so I
disassembled engine. Price is 75.00 plus shipping. I used clutch spring on something else.

Re: WTB: Watts Clutch Pack
Is the Watts Clutch Pack different than the Jack Rabbit Clutch Pack than Snyders sells now?

Re: WTB: Watts Clutch Pack
Howard, please be aware that the pack I have is for 09-25 drums, not 26-27. Let me know.

Re: WTB: Watts Clutch Pack
Yes, main difference is the Watts replaces the Large discs, with fiber cutouts running on the brake drum lugs.
The Turbo 400 or "Jack Rabbit" replaces the Small discs are modified by trimming off some of the metal tabs of modern 400 auto trans discs. The metal tabs running on the clutch drum recesses.
The Watts can fail as the fiber cut outs could shear if a disc hangs up on rough brake drum lugs.
There was another style of Turbo 400 sold by Lang's, these are std. 400 auto trans discs with all the lugs, but has to be used with a special cast clutch drum with multiple notches to mate with the disc. The Special drum isn't available as far as I know.

Re: WTB: Watts Clutch Pack
Someone was making a stock replacement clutch drum. Wish he would make the 400 drum. That is what is needed. I got a 55 gallon drum of stock drums.
