2025 OCF Forum Meet up
I believe that it was Marty Bufalini who took the reins a few years ago, and set up a MTFCA forum meeting at the Greenfield Village Old Car Festival. I'd like to do this again. Any interest?

Re: 2025 OCF Forum Meet up
Hi Ed, Count me in. I suggest approx. 3:30 to 4pm on Saturday afternoon and we meet at the same place as last year - at the far end of where the car games are held.
Cheers, Keith

Re: 2025 OCF Forum Meet up
Bumping this back up, for the OCF participants. See you around 3:30 tomorrow!
Also, if anyone is interested in driving to the Piquette Plant during the OCF, I'm interested. I arrived at Dearborn too late today to get over there.

I've piled up a lot of swell memories over the last 80 years, and driving my 1915 to OCF has been a great one.

Re: 2025 OCF Forum Meet up
I was there at 330 and I did not see anyone. The games were still going on. I left at 340 with the assumption it was not going to happen this year.

Re: 2025 OCF Forum Meet up
Our daughter, son, and son's girlfriend arrived at Greenfield Village from Saginaw at 3:30, so I was in the museum parking lot. As soon as we drove back into the village, daughter got news that her husband wrecked his car. In Saginaw of course. No injuries involved. But I missed the meet up. We'll try next year.

Dave, Were you wearing a brown shop coat while in the bleachers? We were parked behind you.

No Tom. I sold my shop coat. I was on the top row and I have a beard that makes me look like Santa Claus. I had on a grey flannel shirt. I did not see Peter N, Marty, Ed, Rusty, or many others that usually show up.

Re: 2025 OCF Forum Meet up
I confess I didn’t see you. When I pulled up, the Forestry T and one other was there. They drove off around 3:30. I think Marty was busy giving fire truck rides around that time.

Don't pick on Marty too much, he had a new knee that was only one week old.

Oops. I thought I had understood what Marty said, when he told us that he'd recently had a noonie.

Re: 2025 OCF Forum Meet up
I would have been there at the right time, but at that time I was getting a needed part from someone for one of my T's.
Hope to be there for this meet - up next year.

I am not picking on Marty Newnee. He is a hero to my grandchildren because they think his fire engine is really cool.

Sorry I missed you all. I need to start wearing a watch again, I lost track of time. It was good to see many of you even if it was just a wave as we passed each other.
Until next year…

Re: 2025 OCF Forum Meet up
Peter
Just set an alarm on your phone for 3:15. No need to keep looking at your watch. I know I saw you driving some kind of car.
Seems like it just wasn't a good year this year, but I know we all had a great time at OCF with the perfect weather.
See you next year.
