WTB: early steering gear pinion (the one with long teeth)

Post by LittleTimmy52 » Mon Sep 08, 2025 1:39 pm

No one makes a reproduction of the early style steering gears, my pinion is the messed up one, if anyone has one that's not messed up please let me know if like to buy it.

It's the pinion with 2 key slots and the long teeth and I believe it was for the 4:1 but I could be wrong, I'll look at the old one and see how many teeth it has when I get a chance to.

I tried the newer one with the stubby teeth and it has too much play in it.

Those are 4 to 1 - I might have a couple good ones.
