Not a master vibrator switch. It is a security key switch that covers over the late 1913 into about 1920 non-starter cars and trucks with the ignition switch mounted directly on the coil box. Those factory switches from the Ford factory used a single universal key. Anyone with a key could walk down the street and steal any car whether the owner left his universal key in the car or not.
Similar to yours keyed switch covers were manufactured by several companies. Some would work with the Ford factory switch. Some used special switches which were more tamper proof than others. I had one that was missing the key, and it was a bear to get apart without destroying the switch which I was hoping to use.

A really nice accessory!

I beg to differ there, Wayne - it's exactly what it is as stamped on the face ! I have a KW Master coil. Here's a KW coilbox lock.

The KW AUTOLOCK fits over the KW switch that accepted many different style covers. The KW Master Vibrator switch plate could fit over those but needs the switch lever (arrow) to replace the standard in the KW switch. The top of the body shapes match. Neat switch plate

Pic of my KW coil box ignition switch. The internals are the same as Eds' master vibrator but the switch internal connection lever is designed to turn by the Yale/KW key versus the normal round ignition key. Nice switch Ed, the patent date on my switch is the same as yours. Also of note the internal tumbler of these switches have a serial number engraved on it that matches the serial number on the Yale/KW key.
