Stromberg OF-1

Post by ModelTWoods » Thu Nov 06, 2025 11:37 am

Gee, am I glad that I bought my Stromberg OF-1 carburetor, just a year or two ago when they were reasonable. Current listings for them on EBAY and elsewhere, make me think sellers are planning on retiring on their sale income.

Asking price & actually getting price is quite subjective !

Flea Bay is a crap shoot. People that don't know what they have can be a bargain.

Some people see Model T and think its worth 10000% of what it is.

Even the ones on this site are getting expensive.

I think there were some in the carburetor lots at the Meadow’s auction. They looked rebuilt.

Russ Potter had done them in the past, but stopped when they were all going to Montana to get rebuilt. Jim Potter might do them again as he has taken over for his dad rebuilding T carburetors.
