Does that question need to be asked? All the early cars with cast firewall brackets were wood. The last steel fire wall cars were the stamped L shaped very angular bracket

Yes, it does ! The steel brackets for a wood firewall are different than the steel brackets for a steel firewall - perhaps do your research before answering !

The post is clearly the early brackets so you don't need to ask the question period it's a wood firewall pair of brackets. The rest of the wood firewall brackets 17 to 23 have round holes 24 to 27 have square holes I'm not stupid. Just point out that you question is kinda a obvious answer and doesn't need to be asked my bad tho 🤷

Chill - Dude ! '17 - '22 wood firewall brackets are "offset" considerably more compared to the any of the steel firewall brackets - I'll post a photo for comparison & education.
