May have been some changes along the way. Also might have some real similar to Fords design.

Mine has the fluted areas around the large part of handle but its faint.
I believe it to be a model T screwdriver.

The square shaft also through handle.

The flutes do get very faint over time/use. There should be eight of them rather than six. Yours looks the real deal to me.

The square shaft showing through the handle has always been considered the "proof of the pudding", and yeh after over 100 years the flutes certainly can be well worn. I have two of these, one is beat to hell the other not so bad. Both show the square shaft. I'm sure yours is the real deal. Congrats. They're becoming unobtanium.
