Judging by the amount of old roadside pictures of people changing flats they may have seen the logos often! Genius!

A guy near here has a 1926 Lincoln sedan that was converted into a very nice pickup by an oilman back in the 1920s. The rear of the sedan body became the back of a single bench seat cab. It looks like a factory build. The bed and rear fenders look like factory equipment.

Pat, that's what Ford did in Australia when the world's first closed cab utility was built. A ford dealership tour took us to a property on the NSW side of the Murray river and a big collection of cars in various stages of decay. Carefully stored in a locked shed among other cars was such a ute. Preserved were the chalk marks where the factory cuts were made to do the conversion. These were pointed out to the owner by an old gent who visited. He had worked in the Geelong Ford factory when the work was done and knew just what to look for.

Allan from down under.
