I'm the proud owner of this 100-year-old Marquette Tire Tool, which works wonderfully for me when it comes to removing a clincher tire from the rim. Unfortunately, I'm not sure how to use it to put a tire back ON the rim. Is anybody familiar with the procedure?

use the flat end as a tire iron? Otherwise for removing only.
I know the voices aren't real but damn they have some good ideas!

Somewhere around here, I have an original advertisement for that tire tool as I also own one - I never figured out how to do either task - off or on as the ad shows !
