26-27 Canadian and Ausie Bumpers
This is a question to the Canadian and export model T folks. For the 26-27 Ford accessory bumpers, what does the center medallion look like. Please post a picture if you can. I assume it is not Ford script with made in USA, or is it?

Re: 26-27 Canadian and Ausie Bumpers
Hello Jeff,
Checking in from Australia.
I haven't posted on the Forum for a while. I am not a newcomer to the Forum, having had over one thousand postings on the old Forum.
I don't have a center medallion for a T.
I used to own a very early 1928 Model A Phaeton that had this medallion. ( PICTURED )
The medallion had the nickelled cover rolled over a base piece that was the bolt that secured it to the bumper bar.
I think in the USA some of the late T medallions carried over to the first of the model A's.
Hope this might help you.
Best regards, John.[image]. [/image]

Jeff,
I am not sure that our Australia Improved Models had a medallion.
Pictured below are two images from a Ford Motor Company of Australia, Sales Manual.
The images are for what Ford Australia called the " DELUXE MODELS"
The Deluxe versions had a number of accessaries that the Standard Models didn't have.
Best regards, John

Here is my 1926 De-luxe Ford Touring Car. It doesn’t have the medallion.

Re: 26-27 Canadian and Ausie Bumpers
A while ago I acquired a front bumper with a Canadian center medallion and took a picture of it this afternoon...
I thought what I'd do was, I'd pretend I was one of those deaf-mutes...

Re: 26-27 Canadian and Ausie Bumpers
Thats it. Results thus far appear to indicate usa cars had a "made in USA" medallion, Australian export had none, Canadian had a "made in Canada" medallion.
I need to acquire 2 Canadian medallions, if anyone has some please send me a pm.
