Disc brake master cylinder bracket

I like disc brakes on the rear of just about any Model T. They work well, no matter who's design is used.
I have notice some "flex" in the bracket that holds the master cylinder to the 4th main. It's not a lot by none the less it moves.
I have seen some old posts dated in the 2010 or so that show a round bar that attaches to one of the hogs head bolts that might have been used to stop any movement in that bracket. However, I don't believe I have seen that bracket recently. I know there have been some changes in that bracket over the years and maybe that movement is not an issue. Has anyone ever noticed movement in that bracket when the brake pedal is depressed? Personally, have seen movement and feel that brace is needed. I might be wrong. Don't want to break the ears off the 4th main and maybe that is not a concern.

Yes, that's the rod. I just don't remember seeing it on current applications, such as some newer sure stops I have seen recently. I am going to put one on just to satisfy my own concerns. And maybe the newer ones don't require the extra support. Or may no one has noticed the movement.

I can lock the wheels even though the bracket moves some. I don’t see it being a problem. I have the Birdhaven edition.
